Mitchell Robinson began the season projected as a lottery pick. Skipping college entirely, however, might have damaged his stock, giving scouts little to go on when evaluating his performance against legitimate competition.
Originally slated to play at Western Kentucky, Robinson left school over the summer and decided to prepare for the 2018 NBA Draft full time. He’s an intriguing athlete, standing 7-1 with a 7-4 wingspan and plenty of bounce around the rim.
Even without college experience, his high school career and physical tools should be enough to lock Robinson into the first round. His talent level and upside is evident, even if there are some unanswered questions regarding his development.
