Robert Covington hears the boos at the Wells Fargo Center when he misses a couple of shots in a row. The 76ers swingman, however, says he isn’t bothered by fans voicing their displeasure.
He realizes and accepts that everyone has an opinion, and that opinions are just that ... opinions.
“It’s not dictating my life,” he said. "It’s not making me frustrated. It’s not causing me to sit up here and second-guess about myself.”
Covington is shooting just 28.7 percent on three-pointers. The 6-foot-9, 225-pounder failed to score in two games. He was held to fewer than four points on three other occasions.
