Just like the 2013 season, the Sixers D-League affiliate, the Delaware 87ers, had a player that would be eligible for the NBA Draft. It was Thanasis Antetokounmpo last year who was drafted by the New York Knicks and played in the D-League. This year, it’s Jamal Jones, a swingman who decided not to return to Texas A&M and play in the D-League before entering this years draft.
Shams Charania of RealGM is reporting that the Sixers have plans to make Jones the next draft-and-stash domestic product like the Oklahoma City Thunder did this year with first-round pick Josh Huestis.
