Markelle Fultz, the enigmatic former No. 1 overall pick of the 2017 NBA draft remains to be somewhat of a mystery when it comes to his game and place in Head coach Brett Brown's rotation.
In first two preseason games, Fultz appeared to have emerged from the upside down, roller coaster ride of last year. He was in the starting lineup with Ben Simmons, and the duo seemed to play well off one another. However once the team traveled to Shanghai and later Shenzhen for the NBA China Games, he seemed to regress, especially in the preseason finale, where he fouled out with 6 points and 4 turnovers after 19 minutes, while shooting 3-7 from the field.
