Following last night’s earthquake, both venues for Vegas Summer League were inspected by structural engineers and deemed safe to open, allowing today’s games to proceed as scheduled. The Summer Sixers opened summer league play yesterday with a 107-106 victory over Milwaukee. They’ll now go up against the Celtics, who will be taking the floor for the first time this week in Vegas. Boston’s first-round pick Romeo Langford will not be playing following offseason thumb surgery, but Grant Williams and Carsen Edwards will both be in action to show Sixers fans what a non-trade-up scenario might have looked like for the team.
