The Sixers have been heavily pushing Ben Simmons on Twitter to make the All-Star game. Celebrities and Philadelphia Eagles players have joined in too.
It appears the effort is helping both Simmons and Sixers center Joel Embiid.
The NBA released the second official fan voting results for All-Star starters, and Simmons rose to third-place in votes in Eastern Conference back-court players with 397,942 votes. He's still far behind the top-two vote-getters in Raptors' DeMar DeRozan (537,168) and Celtics' guard Kyrie Irving (1,370,643), who Simmons will face at 3 p.m. in Philadelphia's game in London against Boston.
