With over half the roster decimated by COVID-19 contact tracing and various injuries, the seven(ty) Sixers hung tough for about a half, before the Denver Nuggets used a lopsided third quarter to pull away for an eventual 115-103 win. While it’s an unfortunate circumstance under which the team suffered its first loss in Philadelphia since 2019, hopefully the defeat on the court is the worst result to come from a game the NBA really should have postponed.
