The pesky Cavaliers have been a thorn in the Sixers’ side this season, so it was good to see Philadelphia finally break through in the second half Thursday night. After the hot outside shooting of Kevin Love and Dean Wade kept Cleveland hanging around in the first half, the Sixers’ starters built the lead up to double-digits in the third quarter, before the bench turned on the jets and gave Philadelphia fans a stress-free victory as an unofficial start to the holiday weekend.
