The 76ers might decide to host a party sometime soon.
They most certainly celebrated beating the New Orleans Pelicans, 107-93, to earn their 10th win of the season Tuesday night at the Wells Fargo Center. It cleared them of having anything to do with two of the worst records in NBA history.
Carl Landry had a huge hand in this victory, scoring 22 points on 9-for-10 shooting off the bench.
With just four games to play, he and the Sixers can look in their rearview mirrors and see the 1972-73 Sixers, who remain the worst NBA team ever at 9-73.
