Sixers add Wilson Chandler to improve wing depth

After a flurry of moves in the first three days, the free agency market is beginning to run dry. The Philadelphia 76ers took note of that, using most of their remaining cap space to absorb Wilson Chandler‘s contract in a trade with the Denver Nuggets.

As part of the deal, the Sixers will also receive Denver’s 2021 second-round pick and the right to swap second-round picks in 2022. The Nuggets save around $50 million in luxury tax after making this trade.

Chandler was the Nuggets’ starting small forward last year, averaging 10 points and 5.
