PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Showtime plans to debut a documentary on former Philadelphia 76ers great Allen Iverson next month.
The film ''Iverson'' will air on the premium cable channel May 16 after a debut at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival.
Iverson led the Sixers to the 2001 NBA finals, won four scoring titles, clashed with former coach Larry Brown, and was an All-Star game fixture. Iverson's years in Philadelphia were marred by arrests in 1997 for carrying a concealed weapon and for possession of marijuana and in 2002 over a domestic dispute with his wife.
