The ongoing absence of a general manager (GM) is becoming a major theme for the Philadelphia 76ers this offseason. Ever since the unique departure of former president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo, the front office in it’s current state of flux has performed admirably. With that in mind the question arises, does someone within the current front office deserve a promotion to become the full time GM?
Before getting into the pro’s and con’s of an internal candidate taking over the GM position, its important to note the transactions of the franchise since Colangelo’s departure and the probable candidates within the organization.
