With their first selection in Saturday's G-League Draft, the Delaware 87ers drafted shooting guard Darin Johnson with the 12th overall pick.
Johnson began his collegiate career with the Washington Huskies in 2013, but transferred to Cal State-Northridge following his sophomore season. As a junior (2016-17), the 6-5 Johnson averaged 13.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game while shooting 46.3 percent from the field and nearly 37 percent from beyond the arc.
Delaware used its second pick on 29-year-old guard Tyshawn Abbott, who spent last year with AE Doxa Lefkadas of the Greek Basketball League.
