The Philadelphia 76ers will likely go into training camp in September with no definitive starting point guard. That leaves the window wide open for several different players, many of which who weren’t on the Sixers last season. One of the players looking to win the spot wasn’t even in the NBA last year, signing his first contract with the Sixers after being absent from the NBA for about five seasons.

Sergio Rodriguez has been developing his skills with Real Madrid over the last several seasons, after a first campaign in the NBA didn’t go exactly as planned.
