Sergio Rodriguez out for remaining three games

The injury hits keep coming for the Philadelphia 76ers. Point guard Sergio Rodriguez will miss the remaining three games of the 2016-17 season with a left hamstring strain.

Rodriguez had missed the past six games while dealing with the injury. His last appearance came on March 26 against the Indiana Pacers, where he dropped 16 points on 4-6 shooting from beyond the arc.

It’s quite possible that game was Rodriguez’s last as a member of the Sixers. He’ll be an unrestricted free agent this summer, and there doesn’t seem to be much reason to resign him. The 30-year-old averaged 7.
