Report: Sixers making a push to host NBA’s 2026 All-Star Game

The Philadelphia 76ers’ recent front office changes have driven most of the conversation around the team over the last few days. CNBC’s Jabari Young touched on the Sixers’ front office in his recent article on Doc Rivers’ role in the organization, but also included another nugget of information.

Young mentioned that the Sixers are working with Philadelphia officials and Comcast, the owners of the Wells Fargo Center, to host the NBA’s All-Star Game in 2026.

Adam Silver is hoping to get fans back in NBA arenas next season. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and so many unknowns, from how testing could improve to when next season may even begin, we can only wait and see what happens.
