Report: Sixers have interviewed Tyronn Lue, who remains interested in Philly’s head coach job

Lead Los Angeles Clippers assistant Tyronn Lue has been one of the main names in the Philadelphia 76ers’ head coach search for weeks, even after losing momentum in comparison to former Houston Rockets head coach Mike D’Antoni. As The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Keith Pompey has now reported, Lue had his interview with the Sixers on Tuesday and had a tour of the team’s practice facility in Camden.

Pompey added that Lue is still interested in being the Sixers’ head coach.

D’Antoni is the candidate Sixers GM Elton Brand is “pushing hard” for and he’s reportedly received Joel Embiid’s blessing, so he’s still the top candidate.
