Emmanuel Mudiay is expected to have dinner with the 76ers on June 15 and work out for the team the next day, according to SNY.TV.
The 6-foot-5, 205-pound point guard is projected as a top-five pick in the June 25 draft, and could go as high as third to the Sixers.
The 19-year-old averaged 18.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.6 steals this past season for the Guangdong Southern Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association. He only played in 12 games – 10 in the regular season- due to an ankle injury.
But Mudiay is imposing, like Chester native and New Orleans Pelicans guard Tyreke Evans.
