The 76ers' first post-draft signing is Boise State small forward James Webb III, according to Yahoo Sports' Shams Charnia.
Webb is a 6-foot-8, 195-pound 22-year-old who originally hails from Augusta, Ga. He is getting a partially-guaranteed two-year contract from the 76ers, and according to Charnia, will have a "chance to compete" for a roster spot.
ESPN's Chad Ford had Webb at No. 60 on his draft board. Ford praised Webb's athleticism and called him a "good shooter with three point range." Webb's biggest negative, Ford wrote, is that he "needs to add a lot of strength.
