T.J. McConnell has had an amazing year so far, blowing away the expectations of almost all Philadelphia 76ers fans. McConnell won the starting position after Isaiah Canaan clearly wasn’t working out in the point guard spot (news flash Brett Brown, he’s not a point guard) and flourished from the get go.
In back to back games at one point this season, McConnell had a total of 24 assists, and just one turnover. Those are All Star-like statistics.
McConnell has shown us improvements in areas that he hasn’t done too great in also, showing us he’s a player with a lot of room for growth, and with an incredible upside.
