Sixers Process legend Nik Stauskas, AKA Sauce Castillo, has agreed to a deal with Baskonia (Club Deportivo Saski-Baskonia) of Liga ACB (Spain) and the Euroleague, according to a press release from Baskonia.
Stauskas was selected 8th overall in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings. He was part of Sam Hinkie’s fleecing of Vlade Divac, in which the Sixers took on the contracts of Carl Landry and Jason Thompson in a salary dump while being incentivized with Stauskas, pick swap rights and what ended up being the Kings’ 2019 first round pick (which was then traded to the Celtics in the trade up for Markelle Fultz).
