The Meek shall inherit the ... Wells Fargo Center.
Rapper Meek Mill, released from prison just hours earlier, was a celebrated guest as the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Miami Heat in Game 5 to win their NBA Eastern Conference playoff series at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday night.
Mill, released from a state prison in Chester, Pa., around 6:30 p.m., hustled by helicopter to the game and cheered on his hometown team, which advanced to the second round of the playoffs.
Mill, who has been a cause celebre for Philly athletes, including the Super Bowl champion Eagles, had been imprisoned since November when he was incarcerated on a probation violation.
