Philadelphia 76ers would hurt from offensive rebounding rule change

Recently, it was reported that the NBA has a few rules that could be changed when the Board of Governors meet in September. One of the rules up for change in particular could possibly have a negative affect on the Philadelphia 76ers. Changing the shot clock reset after an offensive rebound from 24 to 14 seconds might harm the Sixers offensive output this upcoming season.

Last season, the Sixers were the third best offensive rebounding team in the league, grabbing an average of 10.9 offensive rebounds per game. Philadelphia was also ranked fifth in second chance points averaging 13.
