The Philadelphia 76ers are on the home stretch of the season and only have seven games left until the beginning of the playoffs. That’s not a lot of time for a team to create a new core around the trade deadline to build chemistry. It doesn’t help that the team will be without their star center in Joel Embiid for a few of those final games, according to Keith Pompey of Philly.com.
Joel Embiid will also miss the next three games.

That means Embiid will miss the following matchups against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Dallas Mavericks and Chicago Bulls, none of which have a winning record.
