Earlier today as the NBA Trade deadline approached, the Philadelphia 76ers made a very Sixer-esque deal with the Houston Rockets and traded overseas prospect Chukwudiebere Maduabum for Center Joel Anthony and a second round pick originally via the Denver Nuggets. JaKarr Sampson was waived in order to make room for Anthony, to make the deal doable. Both the Trade, and the waiving of Sampson were first reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.
