The New York Knicks have been expectedly disappointing so far this season. They enter Friday evening’s contest a cold 4-14, good for last place in the Eastern Conference — a conference not exactly teeming with high-end contenders at the moment.
Last time the Philadelphia 76ers faced New York, Brett Brown’s squad eked out a narrow win. It was, on the whole, a troubling performance, as the Sixers were down big to an injured, not-very-good Knicks team. The need for a sizable comeback did not inspire confidence.
The Sixers will look for a more thorough victory in this one.
