Philadelphia 76ers trade former top pick Markelle Fultz

It was minutes before the NBA trade deadline at 3:00 pm on Feb. 7th and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN dropped one of his famous “Woj Bombs”. Wojnarowski reported that the Philadelphia 76ers had traded 2017 first overall pick Markelle Fultz to the Orlando Magic. Derek Bodner of The Athletic retweeted Shams Charania’s tweet and both reporters explained the details of the trade.

This would be a 2020 first-round pick from the Thunder. It is top-20 protected, and becomes 2022 and 2023 2nd round picks if it does not convey.
