The NBA Trade Deadline is fast approaching and the Philadelphia 76ers figure to be actively working the phones, prepared to swing a deal. The Sixers could use depth across the board, but if they are able to nab any of the following three, it will likely be a successful deadline (although a final assessment following the buyout market would be more appropriate, all things considered):
- A starting caliber forward, preferably of the stretch four variety
- A guard who can defend the point of attack, occasionally run the point, and keep Spencer Dinwiddie from having career nights in South Philadelphia
- A two-way wing who can stay on the floor in May
