Al Horford was the first player from the Philadelphia 76ers to announce that he decided not to participate in his home country of the Dominican Republic’s FIBA team’s play this upcoming World Cup. His decision came as a result of him switching teams this offseason. Ben Simmons recently made a similar decision and while it appears that Simmons will be at Australia’s training camp, he won’t be playing in any actual games.
Now it appears that Tobias Harris will be joining Horford and Simmons as the he will not be attending team U.
