Despite sitting fourth in the Eastern Conference, it’s clear the Philadelphia 76ers need to make roster moves before competing in the postseason. Elton Brand has taken considerable criticism for not working the margins, but the Sixers may be doing just that in the coming days.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Keith Pompey, the Sixers will work out four veteran wings on Monday: Corey Brewer, Jodie Meeks, Brandon Rush and Jamil Artis. All four are veteran wings who, on paper, fit the Sixers’ needs.
Perhaps the most intriguing name is Brewer, who spent last season with the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder.
