When the Chicago Bulls were remaking their front office, it became that clear that the Philadelphia 76ers‘ Marc Eversley was a candidate for their general manager (GM) position. According to Adrain Wojnarowski of ESPN, Eversley’s agreed to become the Bulls’ new GM.
There’s a lot to dissect with this news. The first is that Eversley will be working under Chicago’s new executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas. On top of that, Eversley will be the first African American GM in Bulls franchise history.
Eversley has influenced the Sixers’ personal decisions, such as the scouting of Matisse Thybulle, according to Keith Pompey of Philly.
