Philadelphia 76ers should still value the buyout market in 2019-20 season

There’s no doubt that Philadelphia 76ers had a strong offseason. They had a solid draft, followed by an impressive free agency period and even did well in the one trade they made. Despite the good summer the Sixers had spearheaded by general manager Elton Brand, the franchise should be vigilant of the buyout market during this upcoming season.

Players usually get bought out of their contract when they are in the last year of their agreement with a team. Whether a club isn’t in contention for a playoff spot and a veteran player wants to play for a contender or the union between the two sides just is working out, there’s usually players that will be bought out at some point in a season.
