Philadelphia 76ers Rumors: Mike D’Antoni Interested in New Jobs

Philadelphia 76ers associate head coach Mike D’Antoni may not be back with the team next season. Over the last several days, D’Antoni, after leaving the head coaching game for about a year and a half, is back interviewing for open positions, according to reports.

First up, D’Anotni interviewed with the Houston Rockets for their open position, and now, D’Antoni is reportedly one of the top choices for Larry Bird and the Indiana Pacers. The basic implication we get from this is that he’s not planning on coming back for the Sixers.

The Pacers announced they would not be renewing former head coach Frank Vogel’s contract on Thursday afternoon, a surprise to some.
