Philadelphia 76ers Player of the Week: Shake Milton shows out

The injury to Josh Richardson could have been a major loss for the Philadelphia 76ers. However, over the course this past week, Shake Milton has stepped up in Richardson’s place and has shown everyone that he shouldn’t be stuck in the G-League moving forward. His play has earned him this “Player of the Week” award.

In Milton’s first start in place of Richardson, he had a major contribution in an unexpected area in the Sixers victory against Los Angeles Lakers. He finished with seven points, nine rebounds, three assists, one steal, one turnover and two fouls, while making 3-5 shots from the field, 1-3 shots from the 3-point line and 0-2 from the foul line.
