Philadelphia 76ers Player of the Week: J.J. Redick raining 3-pointers

A back injury slowed down Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons struggled with turnovers this week and Jimmy Butler only had one really good game. None of the Philadelphia 76ers “Big 3” had a spectacular week, where as J.J. Redick filled his role well above expectation. For that reason, Redick claims his first player of the week award this season.

In the Sixers less than ideal win against the New York Knicks, Redick was the team’s second leading scorer. He finished with 22 points, three rebounds, two assists, three turnovers and two fouls, while shooting 6-13 on field goal attempts, 3-8 on 3-pointers and 7-8 on foul shots.
