This wasn’t a good week for the Philadelphia 76ers as they went 1-2 during that time span. It didn’t help that Joel Embiid missed the first two games due to a suspension and Ben Simmons was injured in the third contest. Yet, there was one positive that happened during this rough week, Furkan Korkmaz played up to his status as a former first round pick.
Korkmaz hit the game winning shot against the Portland Trail Blazers. He finished the matchup with 11 points, three rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one turnover, while making 4-9 shots from the floor and 3-6 attempts from behind the 3-point line.
