Outside of the Philadelphia 76ers playoff run, the biggest story for the franchises this postseason has been the interest that assistant coach, Monty Williams, has received from opposing teams to fill their head coach position. He was a candidate for the Sacramento Kings job, before the Kings hired Luke Walton instead. Williams is currently in the running for the Los Angeles Lakers gig along side Tyronn Lue and both are getting ready for a second interview.
Now, it’s time to add the Phoenix Suns to the list of teams interested in Williams’ services.
