Time after time, year after year, history arrives all the same. The NBA’s annual rookie survey once again produced several questionable results, most notable being Cam Reddish — 19 percent — being voted most likely to have the best career.
I had Reddish higher than most on my draft board, but looking past Zion Williamson and Ja Morant in that category is a bold stance. Zion didn’t even finish top-three, despite being voted most likely to win Rookie of the Year.
Beyond the inconsistent results and inevitable favoritism, it’s interesting to see where certain rookies stand among their peers.
