It was recently reported that the Philadelphia 76ers will start interviewing internal candidates for the general manager position in the near future. The position of leadership within the Sixers front office has been vacated since the resignation of former president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo.
With news that Philadelphia will begin to look at in-house candidates for the position, there’s one person that should stand out among the rest of the options. Marc Eversley is by far the most qualified internal candidate to become the 76ers next GM.
It should be noted that this isn’t the first time that I’ve advocated Eversley being a good fit for the GM position.
