Despite Philadelphia 76ers star point guard Ben Simmons completely withdrawing from his home country of Australia’s FIBA World Cup team, the franchise will still have one other player representing the Australia in the upcoming games. Jonah Bolden was one of the players to make the final roster for Australia heading into the World Cup.
Considering that Bolden will most likely be hard pressed for minutes with the Sixers this upcoming season, getting an opportunity to play with and against some of the world’s elite players will be a positive for his development.
