The Philadelphia 76ers have all but two players to choose from at the third pick of the 2017 NBA Draft. One of the players projected to the team is Duke small forward, Jayson Tatum.
I’ve never made a secret of my distaste for drafting players from Duke. Perhaps it stems from my age, or perhaps there is good historical data to support my feelings. Today I am going to explore why, from my perspective, Duke players tend to under-perform their draft position in the NBA.
