Philadelphia 76ers: James Ennis expected to pursue multi-year contract

After joining the Philadelphia 76ers via trade, James Ennis emerged as one of Brett Brown’s most important bench pieces. It took some time — The Tournament with Jonathon Simmons was a fun, yet brief debate — but once the season concluded, Ennis was the clear-cut best wing in the second unit.

In 11 postseason games, Ennis averaged 7.5 points and 3.8 rebounds in 21.1 minutes per contest. He shot just 28.1 percent from deep, but impacted the game with his hustle, rebounding and versatility. The Sixers used Ennis as an occasional Kawhi Leonard defender in the second round.
