Having four natural centers on the roster after the trade deadline helped the Philadelphia 76ers greatly when multiple big men went down with injury. During that stretch the Sixers got a decent look at second year center Justin Patton, who the team acquired in the Jimmy Butler trade. However, after that look it’s clear that he’s not the player that Philly needs and they need to move on.
This isn’t the first time I made the argument that the Sixers need to cut ties with Patton, at the NBA trade deadline I wrote about how they should have traded him.
