Virtually all Philadelphia 76ers fans recognize Furkan Korkmaz as the 26th pick of the 2016 NBA Draft. But few recognize Vasilije Micic, who is also a European basketball player with ties to the NBA. Micic was selected 52nd in the 2014 NBA Draft which brought both Joel Embiid and Dario Saric to the team.
Most know Furkan Korkmaz as a player with virtually identical playing skills as that of current 76ers shooting guard Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot. In fact, it was discussed that it would be one or the other in the draft.
