With everything surrounding the Philadelphia 76ers, the hiring of another front office executive may not seem like a big deal. However, bringing Annelie Schmittel into the Sixers organization is important on several fronts. Most importantly, the Sixers fill their need for a Vice President (VP) of Player Development. The responsibilities for that position are outlined below.
“…Schmittel will be responsible for creating, managing and overseeing the holistic development and implementation of programs that support the professional and personal growth of 76ers players, staff and families.”
