The Philadelphia 76ers gave up some depth, including young center Tony Bradley, to acquire point guard George Hill. Hill was supposed to be a savvy veteran who can run a second unit’s offense and an efficient shooting who can play off the ball as well.
Since he’s made his debut the Sixers, their second unit has shown more cohesion as head coach Doc Rivers has embraced a small-ball bench unit. Hill’s steady hand has been a big part of that. However, Hill has struggled shooting the ball since returning from his thumb injury and the 76ers need him to find his rhythm before the postseason begins.
