It didn’t seem too long ago that Furkan Korkmaz was a revelation off the bench for the Philadelphia 76ers. He had emerged as the team’s sixth man and appeared to be the go-to marksman from deep that the team desperately needs. However, that hot shooting has disappeared and it’s not something that shouldn’t be ignored.
On the season, Korkmaz is averaging 8.9 points and 1.9 rebounds, while converting 43.7 percent from the field and 36.9 percent on 3-pointers. Earlier in the year, he had a six game stretch during which he made 18 out of 36 3-point attempts.
