If I told you at the beginning of this season Philadelphia 76ers fans would be chasing “M-V-P” for an NBA player, you probably would have thought that it would have been for a visiting team. No one on this Sixers roster seemed to be of MVP caliber.
If I then told you that the player was a Sixer, you probably would have guessed that it was Jahlil Okafor, Nerlens Noel, or maybe even Ish Smith (if you had the knowledge of the trade that brought him back in upon being asked this hypothetical question).
