This preseason has been all about the Markelle Fultz show, as it should be. The former number one overall pick of the 2017 NBA Draft has shown vast improvement and confidence from his rookie year. Even rookie Landry Shamet deserves praise for his preseason performance. However, one player that the Philadelphia 76ers coaching staff and fans shouldn’t dismiss is second year forward Furkan Korkmaz.
Like Fultz, Korkmaz’s rookie season was forgettable. The European talent played more games for the Sixers G-League affiliate than Philadelphia.
