Recently signed to a 10-day contract, Corey Brewer made his Philadelphia 76ers debut in garbage time during Tuesday’s blowout victory over Minnesota. It wan uneventful stretch for Brewer as the Sixers toyed with a 40+ point lead, but there’s reason to believe the 11-year vet will crack the rotation soon.
The Sixers made an adjustment to the rotation against the Wolves, ousting Furkan Korkmaz and giving more minutes to Jonah Bolden. That could leave some perimeter minutes open for Brewer once he’s acclimated to the system.
While there’s little guarantee with 10-day contracts, Brewer brings an important skill set to the Sixers.
